How Do I Create a Text Link or Make Other Site Elements Linkable?

A link can be attached to the following elements:

  • any part of a text in the Text widget
  • Image widget
  • Button widget
  • Card widget

How Do I Create a Text Link?

Click on the necessary element of the website and select a part of the text. Then click on the "link" icon that will show up in the toolbar above.

In the window that will appear, paste an external link or select an internal website page the link will take to, and choose whether the link will open in a new window or in the current one:

How Do I Make the Image Widget Linkable?

Click on the image, then choose Link under Action on click and configure the link settings:

How Do I Make the Button Widget Linkable?

Click on a button and select the "pencil" icon in the tooltip.

In the window that will appear, choose the necessary settings and save changes. In addition to regular links, a button can be attached to pop-up windows that contain an order form:

How Do I Make the Card Widget Linkable?

Click on a card and select the “pencil” icon in the tooltip. In the window that will appear, paste an external link or select an internal website page the link will take to, and choose whether the link will open in a new window or in the current one. Just as you do with the Button widget, a card can be attached to pop-up windows containing an order form.

On the left panel under Advanced Settings, you can choose a clickable area of the widget::

Note:

If the "link" icon doesn’t show up, an element or a text cannot be made clickable.
